Melissa Todd is Love it! magazine’s longest serving columnist. Her weekly pieces, entitled Sex and The City, cover every manner of subject, from practical advice on spanking and being spanked, to porn production, content creation, and the politics and legalities of sex work. Out every Thursday, but nowhere online, the only way you can read these gems is to buy the magazine.

From summer 2024 Melissa also began writing a fortnightly column for Metro. On Call: tales from a dominatrix, attracts around 18 million views every month, and initiates many frenzied debates. These pieces deal with the more extreme end of kink, and, often, the celebrity names who indulge in it.

In Kent Online Melissa deals with a wider array of subjects, often political: these are longer think pieces of widely differing subject matter. She has considered the rise of the extreme right, identify politics, the crisis in mental health provision, the grammar school system, the US election, among many other thought-provoking and controversial pieces, often generating many hundreds of online comments.
